Tactical 1 Handgun is an 8 hour class recommended for anyone who intends to use a firearm defensively. Course material focuses on the proper safety techniques, mindset, and skill sets necessary for using a handgun defensively. Included are lessons in the proper use of stance, drawing from concealment, reloading under pressure, and shooting from various positions. Also introduced are techniques for movement, engaging multiple targets, and cover / concealment. Students are required to have: Handgun, 400 rounds ammunition, eye, and ear protection.
